Jared Schneider - Managing Partner

As a Managing Partner, Mr. Schneider directs investment strategy and overall business for Blue Springs. His prior experience  was serving as a strategy professional for CNL, a multi-billion dollar alternative investment firm. In this role, he served as an internal consultant, led investment research and education initiatives, and conducted ongoing training for a 40 person sales team. During his tenure there, the firm raised and invested roughly $1.5 billion of assets through its proprietary products and partnerships with KKR, CB Richard Ellis and Macquarie.

Before CNL, Mr. Schneider worked for Wells Fargo, worked as an independent consultant and traded equities for a proprietary trading group. He received an MBA from Rollins College and a bachelor's in both Finance and Entrepreneurship from Florida State University.

Ruben Perez - Senior Advisor- Healthcare

Ruben is the Managing Partner of Cumbre Partners, a private investment company and has a successful history creating and leading healthcare companies. He co-founded CIMA Hospice a hospice and home health company that merged with Jordan Health Services in 2011. The combined company employs over 13,000 employees and is backed by private equity firm, Palladium Equity Partners.

In 2001, Ruben co-founded InterAmerica Wound Centers, a hyperbaric and wound care company. Prior to that, he formed AmHealth Corporation, a hyperbaric medicine and kidney dialysis company. In 1996 the company merged with STAT Healthcare, a NASDAQ traded healthcare management company. Later that year it merged with AMR, the nation’s largest ambulance company. In early 1997, Laidlaw Corporation acquired the ambulance company in a $1.2 billion transaction.

Prior to that, Ruben was SVP of Finance and part of the startup team for Columbia Healthcare. By 1992, the company was traded on the NYSE and had assets exceeding $1.0 billion. Columbia later merged with HCA to become the largest health care provider in the nation with over 340 hospitals in the U.S. and Europe.

Heath Ritenour - Advisor

Heath is the CEO of Insurance Office of America, Florida’s largest privately-held insurance agency, currently in the top 10 privately-held agencies by Insurance Journal-National, and in the top 30 largest U.S. brokers according to Business Insurance magazine.

Heath sits on the Board of Governors for the Orlando Regional Chamber of Commerce, Board Member of The Seminole State College Foundation, Board of Elders of Grace Church of Longwood, Advisory Board of Lifework Leadership Orlando and President of the IOA Foundation. He attended Liberty University where he majored in Business Administration and played football for the Liberty University Flames. Heath has been married to his wife Abby for ten years and they have a 6- year old son and 18-month old daughter. Heath’s interests include spending time with his family, working out, running and he is an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Craig Peterson - Advisor

Craig is the COO of Innovative Data Solutions, a Venture backed software as a service company in Orlando that has been on the Inc 5000 list three years in a row and voted one of Orlando’s best places to work.

Craig sits on the Board of Directors for a SaaS company called PowerDetails. He is also a Director on the Boards of two non-profits, Summit Church and the Africa Windmill Project. He attended Grace University and Michigan State for his undergraduate work in business and received his MBA from the Harvard Business School. Craig is married with four children ages 5 to 17 and enjoys golf and running half marathons.
